About

Mission-critical avionics for uncrewed systems.

SkyPulse develops a platform-agnostic, mission-first hardware and software ecosystem enabling complete operational autonomy for unmanned systems across aerial, ground, and maritime domains. Built to bridge the gap between high-performance edge compute, low SWaP-C design, and mission-critical reliability, SkyPulse delivers an NDAA-compliant avionics and software stack engineered for complex, performance-critical environments.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the Helios FMU NDAA compliant?

Yes. Helios is 100% NDAA compliant and built on high-quality non-Chinese components. SkyNav is also 100% NDAA compliant.

Is NDAA compliance the same as being on the Blue UAS list?

No. NDAA compliance is a statutory sourcing requirement. Blue UAS is a Department of Defense program that reviews and lists specific systems and components. A component can be NDAA compliant without being listed, so ask suppliers which claim they are making.

Can the Helios FMU run both PX4 and ArduPilot?

Yes. Helios ships with ArduCopter by default, and PX4 can be flashed over USB. Custom firmware builds are also supported.

Can a Raspberry Pi CM5 companion computer run onboard object detection?

It runs TensorFlow and OpenCV workloads on four Arm Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4 GHz. Whether that is enough depends on model size, input resolution and frame rate. Where it is not, Helios exposes PCIe on the J3 Interface connector for an AI accelerator. Benchmark your own model at the resolution you will fly.
